About the Event

Looking for a pathway grounded in positive forward movement for transformation in your neighborhood, service group, congregation, organization using the gifts and strengths of all?

This four-week course is a brief introduction to simple yet profound practices, emerging through Asset-based Community Development and Appreciative Inquiry, which have strengthened organizations for deep impacts for more than 30 years. From education to medicine; from corporations to small neighborhood groups; from industry to local congregations, utilizing these principles and practices fosters new ways of inventive thinking, creative collaboration and positive transformation.

Taught by Lynne B. Caldwell, D.Min., educator and administrator, this course explores four questions as signposts for leaders and groups longing to build upon existing strengths while pursuing unlimited possibilities for developing thriving communities and neighborhoods.

WHY asset-based thinking and practices?

WHERE are the assets and how can we find them?

HOW do we connect the assets?

WHAT’S the next step?
