How do we truly love God and our neighbor as ourselves, when so many of us bear trauma? This course, taught by Elaine Heath and Jeanine Heath-McGlinn--a theologian and therapist—is based on six themes in their 2021 memoir, Loving the Hell Out of Ourselves (and Others).

You're invited to a Taste of Neighborhood Seminary, a monthly opportunity for persons who want to know more about Neighborhood Seminary’s mission and practices.

This is a 90-minute conversation with an overview of the programs and events offered by Neighborhood Seminary. Attendees will experience a little taste of Neighborhood Seminary's integrated approach to theological education: head and heart and hands.

These first Tuesday gatherings from 6:30-8:00 p.m. (EST) provide experiences of a spiritual practice like:

  • lectio divina

  • a visual presentation of core values

  • programs and practices of Neighborhood Seminary

  • and dialogue with representative staff, faculty, Board members and alumni.

By using the RSVP button above and selecting a date, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link. We hope you will join us at the table of this learning and practicing community of Neighborhood Seminary.

You are most welcome here!
