Elaine Heath, Lynne Caldwell, and Kimberly Clarke of Neighborhood Seminary, and Margaret Brunson of Illumined Leadership Solutions lead a retreat for District Superintendents and Presiding Elders of the United Methodist Church and the African Methodist Episcopal Church Zion, September 2019. The retreat, Wade in the Water Together, was the first of a series of collaborative experiences that focus on healing the wounds of racism in Eastern North Carolina.
